SUBLIME

DIGITAL STRATEGY “Ensenada”

CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION
Legendary alt group, Sublime, released “Ensenada” in July 2025, the first release to feature new frontman Jakob Nowell, son of original vocalist Bradley Nowell. Facili digital strategy campaigns to reheat Sublime socials and create familiarity between classic Sublime and the new material with Jakob.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • iHeart Radio Alternative Song of the Year.

  • Creative content highlighting the similarities between Jakob’ voice and that of his father. Using content such as old school live footage of Bradley performing transitioning into Jakob singing, fans can see the resemblance of 90s Sublime to today.

  • Established the narrative of Sublime’s legacy meeting its new chapters with the first piece of new material in over 30 years. Partnered with high-end press and podcasting: Rolling Stones, Lipp Service, Zang Show. SPIN, Vice etc

  • Digital strategy led by fan activations, encouraging fans to experience the similarities between Bradley and Jakob for themselves. Activated by LAYLO, IG Broadcast, TikTok Bulletin Board and Email lists

  • #1 at Mediabase and Billboard Alternative radio - capitalized on radio support to help escalate streaming to over 20M. Activating local and region social campaigns in radio and touring markets

Worked with Silent Theory over the course of three years rolling out singles and an album. The campaign saw significant growth across streaming and YouTube thanks to a strategic release calendar and the implementation of alternate version of each single.

  • Extensively grew Streaming and YouTube across a massive 3 year long campaign which one (1) studio album, three (3) EPs, and 17 singles

DOOBIE

ALBUM CAMPAIGN + FAN ACQUISITION

Worked with RIAA Multi-platinum hiphop artist, Doobie, during his transition period into rock music through is debut rock album, Give’ Em Hell Until You Get To Heaven. Heavy focus in repositioning Doobie in the rock space via tastemakers, partnerships and key programming activations.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Introduced Doobie to rock fans via partnerships with radio, social and streaming. Including tastemakers such as Sirius XM Octane, Revolver, Alt Press, and DSP editorial.

  • Received extensive co-signs by established rock icons to bring additional credibility to his transition to Rock from Hiphop

  • Launched awareness and retention campaigns across socials, working with targeted rock influencers: Danny Wimmer Presents, Van’s Warped Tour, Jesea Lea, + more

THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS

ALBUM + ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN

Iconic Bluegrass group, The Infamous Stringdusters, released their new album, 20/20, in coordination with the 20th anniversary of the band. The album rollout was heavily focused on highlighting the significance of the bands 20 year career and showing their legacy continues with the new album

HIGHLIGHTS

  • With 20 songs on the album, there was an extensive pre-release strategy - releasing five singles ahead of the album, and highlighting each additional album track post-release

  • Partnered with popular bluegrass outlets such as Bluegrass Situation, SXM Bluegrass Junction and Americana Fest for the full rollout.

  • 20/20 was themed on the idea of perfect vision, - the band having perfect vision of their career. Sticking with the ‘20’ theme, we worked with Bluegrass Station to highlight the 20 Greatest Moments of the Dusters career. Using videos, photos and memories to re-tell history.

  • The campaign culminated with a full-circle moment, having the band host a 4-day release event in Nashville TN, where their careeers started. Including a sold out release party at the legendary Station Inn, significant radio and press via SXM and Opry Radio, and a return to the Grand Ole Opry.

  • Facilitated a partnership with VEEPS to live stream the Station Inn show and an exclusive Q&A. Including a physical partnership with Artist Friendly to sell exclusive vinyls.

CHELSEA GRIN

DOUBLE LP ROLLOUT + DIGITAL MARKETING

Modern deathcore trio, Chelsea Grin, released a tremendous double LP project which digital release campaigns spanned across the better part of two years. Digital strategy focused around activating the metal community via superfans and tastemakers. The visuals for short form and the long form music videos were the most important, finding new ways to promote and draw in new eyes.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Facilitated long term support via Sirius XM Liquid Metal who exclusively premiered each single, reaching their weekly countdown of top songs with three different singles

  • Partnered with Facebook to promote the music video for “Origin of Sin” view their now defunct Premiere Music Video activations

Through the release of two acclaimed albums, the nu-deathcore outfit experienced substantial growth across all digital platforms, elevating their position within the metal scene and unlocking larger touring and festival opportunities. This success was driven by a focused digital marketing strategy and targeted audience development efforts.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Growing from an underground band playing in 250 cap rooms to selling out 750-1K capacity rooms across a two album digital cycle

  • Strategic collaborations with in-genre artists such as Paleface Swiss, and cross-genre blending with Kim Dracula and Sullivan King opened the door to target new fans and collect data for retargeting efforts

  • Facilitated guest appearance on Twitch streams for frontman Taylor Barber who is a big gamer. Partnered with other musicians who host Twitch streams to cross-collaborate

ZERO 9:36

EP + DIGITAL STRATEGY

Fresh off a major label deal, Zero 9:36 released his new EP, None of Us Are Getting Out, independently. Having built his career from multiple successful radio campaigns, we shifted focus to retargeting his radio markets into digital fans. Highly targeting his radio and touring markets while attempted to draw in new fans via TikTok, and Reels.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Focused heavily on SXM Octane and Pandora to capitalize on previous radio success. Facilitated premieres for each single from the record. Increased Pandora Streams 30% (+4M)

  • Leaned in heavily to TikTok which was seeing a massive wave of discovery around alt/rock/metal. 20 pieces of short form content for each single, flooding the algorithm. Doubling down on the most successful TikToks via spark ads, duets, and recreations. Increased TikTok Likes by 152%, creations by 10% and TikTok followers by 289% - all in the span of 4 months

  • YouTube strategy: 3 pieces of long form content + 20 YT shorts per single. Resulted in a 15% increase in channel views (+4.3M views) and 6.5K new subscribers in less than 3 months.

  • Significant DSP support including Top Rock/Metal Spotify playlist placements (Kickass Metal, Volume) and Apple Music Hero Banners, and video placement on YouTube Music,

CODEFENDANTS

ALBUM + DIGITAL
DISCOVERY CAMPAIGN

CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION
Codefendants is the side project of Fat Mike, alongside Sam King and Ceschi Ramos. After releasing their debut album in 2023, the band went through an extended period without new music. To reignite streaming activity and social engagement, the strategy centered on releasing a live EP ahead of new music and a forthcoming album campaign. Digital discovery efforts focused on mobilizing the existing NOFX fanbase to drive awareness and engagement, while supporting campaigns tapped into skateboarding, graffiti, and punk culture to expand the band's reach and attract new audiences.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Began reheat campaign by releasing a 6-song live EP including live performance videos for each song. Used the content to create the bands YouTube channel and grew it to monetization levels within 2 months. Setting up the YT Channel for success through the upcoming new album campaign (LIFERS)

  • Leading into LIFERS, created punk rock fan accounts across IG, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit to seed the narrative of Codefendants - “Have you heard this new band from NFOX’s Fat Mike called the Codefendants” etc.

  • Strategic release cycle - 2 Singles + LIVE EP, three singles + LIFERS album. Post-release featured a special EP release of instrumental tracks to resurface the music across streaming algorithms

  • Spotify monthly listeners spiked 151% across 6 months

  • Partnered with press and alt tastemakers to ‘introduce’ Codefendants across socials, repurposed videos as ad assets. VICE, SPIN, Alternative Press, Brooklyn Vegan all lead the charge.

  • Led multiple fan engagement campaigns, including a highly successful custom Instagram filter that allowed fans to create and share their own mugshots in support of the album. Additional initiatives included a four-month fan engagement contest that rewarded participants for liking, commenting, sharing, posting, streaming, and watching content, with the chance to win a custom-built speaker box handcrafted by Sam King and Ceschi.

  • Facilitated special pop-up performances in culturally relevant locations to continue seeding the narrative - Punk Rock Museum pop up, CrimeWave secret shows across Vegas, etc

  • Partnered with Artist Friendly for Physical sales - sold out 200 specialty vinyl variants in less than 15mins.
